THE U6422 BARDWELL ROAD AND CLINT HILL, FAKENHAM MAGNA
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:
• U6422 Bardwell Road, Fakenham Magna
• U6422 Clint Hill, Fakenham Magna from Bardwell Road to Coney Weston Road.
This is to facilitate the installation of new hazard marker posts and repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Coney Weston Road, Bardwell Road, Sapiston Road, Fakenham Hill, Thetford Road, the A1088, and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate 17/07/2026 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• B1118 Chickering Road, Wingfield
• B1118 Stradbroke Road, Wingfield
• B1118 Battlesea Green, Stradbroke.
This is to facilitate road markings and surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1118, the B1117, the A140, the B1118 and vice versa.
It is intended that these closures from:
- for surface dressing - 26/07/2026 - 27/07/2026 from 10am - 2pm
- for road markings - 27/08/2026 - 01/09/2026 from 7pm - 5am
with a further closure scheduled for associated works but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
