(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Albert Road which extends from its south westernmost junction with Albert Crescent to Totterdown Bridge.
Exemption will be provided in the Order for vehicles requiring necessary access to premises situated on, adjacent to or accessible only from that closed length of road specified above.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and becomes operative from 30th July 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 30th July 2026 and 10th September 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Albert Crescent, Short Street, Feeder Road, Albert Road (part unaffected) and vice versa
(SCOTLAND LANE AND STOCKWOOD ROAD, BRISLINGTON, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and becomes operative from 2nd August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 2nd August 2026 and 31st December 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stockwood Road (part unaffected), Bath Road, West Town Lane, Sturminster Road, Craydon Road, Stockwood Road, Stockwood Lane and vice versa
