HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 90(A)

Leicester City Council proposes to construct road humps under Section 90(a) of the Highways Act 1980 at the locations shown below: -

The length of the speed cushions will be 2.0m and the width will be 1.7m. The length of the road humps will be between 12m and 25m and the width will be the full width of the carriageway. The maximum height of the features will be 100mm.

OBJECTIONS to the proposals should be sent to michael.byrne@leicester.gov.uk or by post to Transport Strategy, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ and marked for the attention of Michael Byrne.

Any objections should state the grounds on which they are made and must be received by Friday 7th August 2026.
