LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL(SERPENTINE ROAD, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (1.5M WIDTH RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 7th July 2026 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a 1.5 metre width restriction in Serpentine Road, Burnley, from a point 78 metres south of its junction with Chestnut Rise to a point 74 metres north of its junction with Clevelands Road.
This Order will come into force on the 20th July 2026. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 9SA, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
quoting ref: LSG4/ 894_19869/AFR. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
