What is happening?
THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (No. 4) ORDER 2026 (P012-2026)
1. Portsmouth City Council hereby gives Notice that on the 13th July 2026 it made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 20th July 2026.
2. The effect of the Order will be:
A) TO REMOVE DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING BAYS (MINIMUM 5-METRE LENGTH) FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9260 6480.
4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
