What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(QUEENSFERRY STREET LANE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 - TEMP/26/114

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate building development works, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of Queensferry st la, from the extended south-west kerbline of Queensferry St, southwestwards for 40m. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Queensferry st la is: Queensferry St, Melville St, Walker St, Coates Cres, Shandwick Pl, Stafford St & Queensferry St La. The one-way restriction on Queensferry st la (east to west direction), shall be suspended for the duration of this Order. The Order shall have effect from 18 /07/26 to 31/ 05/28.
