No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Lyndhurst Road, Scholes, Leeds in the Harewood Ward at its junction with Station Road. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Elmete Avenue, Scholes, Leeds in the Harewood Ward at its junction with Station Road. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left from Milton Drive, Scholes, Leeds in the Harewood Ward at its junction with Station Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because service diversions and associated 278 footway works are being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Water Lane full closure between its junctions with Marshall Street and Springwell Road (22nd July 2026 to 30th October 2026); Water Lane one-way closure in a south-westerly direction between its junctions with Bath Road and Springwell Road (30th October 2026 to 14th December 2026); Water Lane one-way closure in a south to north direction between its junctions with Marshall Street and Springwell Road AND Bath Road one-way closure in a Northerly direction between its junctions with Water Lane and Sweet Street West (30th October 2026 to 30th November 2026); Water Lane full closure between its junctions with Marshall Street and Bath Road (dates TBC); and Water Lane 15 minute temporary obstruction (17:15 Sunday 23rd August 2026), if more than one obstruction is required there will be a minimum 1 hour period between events. Live at Kirkstall Abbey Leeds – Fri 24, Sat 25, Sun 26, Fri 31 Jul 2026 & Sat 1 Aug 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public due to an increased vehicular & pedestrian traffic in connection with the holding of the Live at Kirkstall Abbey event; Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which will be that: On Fri 24, Sat 25, Sun 26 & Fri 31 Jul & Sat 1 Aug 2026:
1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 from 21:00 to 00:00 hrs.
2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle in the roads specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 to proceed by way of a left turn onto Abbey Rd from 21:00 to 00:00 hrs.
3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 3 between 14:00 to 00:00 hrs other than to gain access to or egress from a premises situated adjacent to that length of road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to health and safety concerns whilst carrying out maintenance and repairs to flood embankment including installation of new fencing: Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order in the interests of public safety, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed on foot along Definitive Footpath Garforth 25, from its junction with Definitive Footpath Garforth 26 to the junction with Main Street, in the Kippax and Methley Ward (Garforth and Swillington Ward). NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions within the Bramley & Stanningley Ward:
1. Order No.3 2026 20 Mph Speed Limit Order
Garforth & Swillington Ward

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, has today made the above Amendment Order. The effect of the Order which come into force on 16 July 2026 is to introduce:
1. Introduce a 20MPH Speed Limit on the whole of Richmond Rw, Garforth.
2.
Amend the existing 20MPH Speed Limit on Bar Ln/Ninelands Ln, to include the bridge over the railway line.
3. Extend the 20MPH Speed Limit on Ninelands Ln, up to the point where the 20mph Zone begins.
4. Convert the existing 20mph Zones on Station Ct and Saxton Ct into 20MPH Speed Limits. A copy of this Amendment Order may be obtained by emailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of this Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this.
