(Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation) order 2026 – Temp/26/116

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate road safety improvements and resurfacing works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle on any part of: Phase 1 Craigs rd; from the extended east kerbline of Craigievar Wynd, south-eastwards to 200m north-west of the extended west kerbline of North Gyle Rd; and Phase 2 Craigs rd, from the extended west kerbline of East Craigs Rigg, south-eastwards to 200m northwest of the extended west kerbline of North Gyle Rd. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The following Order “The City of Edinburgh Council (Craigs Road) (Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation) Order 2026” is hereby revoked. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure is Craigs Rd, Maybury Rd, Glasgow Rd and Craigs Gdns. The Order shall have effect from 22/07/26 to 19/10/26.
