THE A11 TRUNK ROAD (SNETTERTON INTERCHANGE, NORFOLK) SOUTHBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A11 Trunk Road in the County of Norfolk to allow for third party water main renewal and new connection works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over 1 night (8pm – 6am), starting on, or after Thursday 6 August 2026.
The effect of the Order would be to close the A11 southbound entry slip road at Snetterton Interchange.
Traffic would be diverted via the northbound carriageway of the A11 at Snetterton Interchange to exit at Stone Cross Interchange, then join the A11 southbound carriageway back to Snetterton Interchange and continue their journey.
The closure (which would not apply to emergency services or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order would come into force on 3 August 2026 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
