THE FIFE COUNCIL (A994 (URQUHART CUT) DUNFERMLINE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of A994 (Urquhart Cut), Dunfermline from jct. William St to jct. Lyne Grove, Crossford.
The Order is to allow carriageway and drainage works to be carried out in safety and will be operational daily from 21.00hrs to 05.00hrs from 27/07/26 to 04/09/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via A994, A985, B980, A823 and A907. Access for emergency service vehicles, resident’s and pedestrians will be maintained.
