NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hertford 062, from junction with Hertingfordbury Road, for an approximate distance of 15m.
Alternative route: on diversion route provided
The purpose of the Order is to enable utility works works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 17 July 2026 for up to 12 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHURCH LANE, WATTON AT STONE) ORDER NO.2 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Lane, Watton at Stone from a point 244m south east of its junction with Station Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 63m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Church Lane, Station Road, High Street, Perrywood Lane and Church Lane.
The Order is needed because brickwork/stone repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 1 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 7 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WARE AND WORMLEY) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of A119 Hertford Road, Ware from its junction with A119 Amwell End north westwards and south westwards to its junction with A119 Ware Road, a distance of approximately 999m.
An alternative route will be via A119 London Road, A1170 (London Road/Amwell Hill/Pepper Hill), A10 Amwell Link Road, A10 (unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/London Road) and A119 Ware Road.
2. that length of Myddleton Road, Ware from its junction with A119 Hertford Road south westwards to its junction with Warner Road, a distance of approximately 260m.
An alternative route will be via A119 Hertford Road, Scotts Road and Warner Road.
3. that length of The Ridgeway, Ware from its northernmost junction with Heath Drive south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 394m.
An alternative route will be via Heath Drive.
4. that length of Wormley Lodge Close, Wormley from its junction with A1170 High Road north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 3 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 7 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aston Lane, Aston from its junction with Stringers Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 87m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Stringers Lane, Benington Road, Broadwater Lane and Aston Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from St Andrews Street into Brewhouse Lane, Hertford (“the Roads”), whilst works are in progress.
An alternative route will be via St Andrews Street, B158 (Mill Bridge/The Wash/Parliament Square/Castle Street), the A414 Gascoyne Way roundabout, B158 Castle Street/ Parliament Square/The Wash/Mill Bridge), St Andrews Street and Brewhouse Lane.
The Order is needed because wall repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cock Lane, Hoddesdon from its junction with the A1170 High Street roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 54m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via A1170 (High Street/High Road), Park Lane and Cock Lane.
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Yewlands Drive into A1170 High Street, Hoddesdon, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via A1170 (High Street/High Road), Bell Lane, Baas Hill, White Stubbs Lane, Cock Lane and A1170 High Street.
