(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that length of Kestrel Lane, Wellingborough as set out below. LENGTH OF FOOTPATH TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Kestrel Lane, Wellingborough from the back of no.35 to the back of no. 51.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ducting works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 6 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the footpath will be restricted for up to 11 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Park Road, Rushden as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Park Road, Rushden from Harborough Road to Southfields.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during cable laying.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rectory Drive, Twywell as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rectory Drive, Twywell from Gardeners Cottage to Church Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during utility civils.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Ecton from number 32 to Church Way.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ducting.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months.
