The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for road carriageway dressing works.

There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed, on a rolling programme commencing 3rd August 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th November 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE U40690 CHURCH LANE (TODDINGTON PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U40690, Church Lane from its junction with the B4632 to its junction with Toddington Manor entrance, for a distance of approximately 1.2 kilometres.

The reason for the said closure is for water mains works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 3rd August 2026 until 20th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 490204 GARDEN ROAD (CHALRTON KINGS PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490204 Garden Road from its junction with Little Herbet’s Road to outside the property known as ‘No. 2 Garden Road’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The reason for the said closure is for cable works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 23:00hrs on 5th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
