CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
OTLEY ROAD, EAST MORTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Otley Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Otley Road from its junction with Stepping Stones to its junction with Carr Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Otley Road (unaffected section), Main Road, Morton Lane, Keighley Road, Main Street, Park Road, Parkside, Otley Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours on the 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st July 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
