What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (WORRALL AVENUE, ARNOLD) (PARKING PLACES) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (7289)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under Section 90A - 90I of the Highways Act 1980 (traffic calming hump), the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No 1086 as amended, have installed a raised traffic calming plateau, the effects of which are in respect of roads at Arnold in the Borough of Gedling:
WORRALL AVENUE, ARNOLD (the south side)
• To provide 30 minutes parking, No Return within 30 minutes. Operating Monday to Saturday 8 am - 6 pm. Along the following length of road: -
• From a point 41 metres east of its junction with Front Street in an easterly direction for 9 metres
• To provide disabled parking at All times along the following length of road:-
• From a point 28 metres east of its junction with Front Street in an easterly direction for 13 metres
• To construct a 75mm high raised traffic calming plateau (round top hump), the effects of which will be:
• From a point 24 metres east of its junction with Front Street for 3.8 metres

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 20TH JULY 2026
The restrictions are required to reduce approach speeds to the zebra crossing to help improve road safety.
