ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) (SURFACE DRESSING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council intend to make the above order No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected:

Macadam Road – from Shapters Way to PCC Depot Entrance

Barbican Approach – from Shapters Road to Commercial Road

Bellingham Crescent – from Glen Road to Pode Drive

Sandy Road from Glen Road to Ridgeway

Newnham Road for its entirety

West Park Hill from Newnham Road to B3417

Plymbridge Road – from Cranfield to Plymbridge Car Park

Clittaford Road – from Langley Crescent to Southway Drive

Honicknowle Lane – from Shakespeare Road to St Pancras Avenue

Beaumont Road – from Heathfield Road to Seymour Road

Wilton Street – from Stuart Road to Molesworth Road

Royal Navy Avenue – from Ocean Street to North Down Crescent

Peverell Park Road – from Outland Road to Kingswood Park Avenue

Blandford Road – from Compton Vale to Park Road

It is anticipated that the phased resurfacing and all associated work will take place at the above locations between 17th August 2026 and 30th October 2026. Advance warning boards will be displayed on site at each location to communicate exact dates and times nearer the time.

These temporary restrictions are considered necessary to enable phased surface dressing and all associated works
