WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
BOULTERS LOCK ISLAND, MAIDENHEAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,
to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Boulters Lock Island from its junction with A4094 Lower Cookham Road eastward for a distance of 16 metres.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely carriageway patching works and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on Friday 31 July 2026. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
