ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(BRINGTON ROAD, EAST HADDON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, East Haddon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, East Haddon from the junction of A428 for 300 metres south.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water meter exchange works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A428, A5, A428, A5, Whilton Locks, Norton Road, Whilton Road and Main Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(STAVERTON ROAD, BADBY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Staverton Road, Badby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Staverton Road, Badby from High Cross Farm to Badby Lodge Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during replacement of telecom pole.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Station Road, Welton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Station Road, Welton from Crockwell Hill to Burrow Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14.1B
(LONDON ROAD, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of London Road, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of London Road, Northampton from St Leonards Road to Queen Eleanor roundabout.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during an event at Delapre Abbey.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 1 day. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted from 8pm to midnight.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use St Leonards Road, Towcester Road and Mereway.
