The Scottish Borders Council (C8 Cappercleuch, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT Openreach works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C8 at Cappercleuch, Selkirk. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C8, A701, A708 and C8 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (B6398 Bowden Road, Newtown St Boswells) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 23 July 2026. The Order is required for BT works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6398 at Bowden Road, Newtown St Boswells.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6398, A68, A699, B6359 and B6398 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (John Collins Crescent, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 20 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 24 July 2026 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for drainage pipe repair works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along John Collins Crescent, Galashiels.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via John Collins Crescent, Knoll Park and Knoll Park Place to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(CRAIGEND ROAD & GALASHIELS ROAD, STOW)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Craigend Road & Galashiels Road, Stow) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 20 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 22 July 2026, as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Craigend Road, Stow from the junction with the A7 to 52 Craigend Road from 20 July 2026 to 22 July 2026 between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day. There is no alternative route. Local access shall be maintained; and
(b) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following roads from 08:00 on 20 July 2026 until 17:00 on 22 July 2026:
(i) Craigend Road, Stow – from junction with the A7 to 52 Craigend Road; and

(D59-5 HARRIETFIELD, KELSO)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (D59-5 Harrietfield, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 20 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 24 July 2026, as detailed below. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D59-5 at Harrietfield, Kelso.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D59/5, A6089, B6364 and D59/5 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

The Scottish Borders Council (C45 Kaimridge, Ednam) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00. The Order is required for mains replacement works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C45 at Kaimridge, Ednam. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C45, B6461, C46, B6364 and C45 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
