(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for replacement of a damaged cover in the carriageway and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd August 2026, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. Road affected - B3254 Between Rockwell And St Stephens Hill. St Stephens Hill, Launceston between the junctions with Barracadoes and Duke Street.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th August 2026, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Buckles Hill, Warbstow, Launceston between the junction Access to Penwenham and property known as The Cottage.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Bude-Stratton.
This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th August 2026 to 14th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Public right of way affected - Footpath 33 in the Parish of Bude-Stratton between the junctions with Bramble Hill and Broadclose Hill.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd August 2026 to 4th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Holnicote Road, Bude for its entire length.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Stopping and One-Way Suspension) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 28th August 2026. Roads subject to prohibition - Dutson Road between the junctions with Newport Square and Ridgegrove Road, Newport Square, between the junction with St Stephens Hill and grid reference SX 32871 85101, West Bridge Road for its entire length, Roydon Road between property known as Noosa and the junction with Dutson Road and St Stephens Hill between the junctions with Maynes Close and Underhayes Lane. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Dutson Road between the junctions with Newport Square and Ridgegrove Road, Newport Square, between the junction with St Stephens Hill and grid reference SX 32871 85101, West Bridge Road and St Stephens Hill for their entire length and Roydon Road between property known as Noosa and the junction with Dutson Road. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order cited as The County of Cornwall (Launceston) (St Stephens Hill) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 2002 St Stephens Hill (Class 111) from a point 22 yards south-east of its junction with Mayne Close to a point 17 yards south-east of its junction with Mayne Close between the junctions with Mayne Close and Dutson Road. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
