ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of Calderdale (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) intends to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce ‘no waiting at any time restriction on the following roads in Pellon, Halifax :
• Albert Drive, Albert Road, Ashville Gardens, Highroad Well Lane, Ling Bob, Rye Lane, Ryecroft Lane, Sandbeds Road and Stretchgate Lane.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including the plans showing the affected roads and the statement of reasons for the Order, are available for inspection at Halifax Central Library, Halifax, HX1 1QG, from 10.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays.
Alternatively copies of the documents can be viewed on the Council’s website at Proposed Highway improvements | Calderdale Council or can be made available on request via email proposedtro@calderdale.gov.uk or telephone 01422 288001 or 288002.
If you wish to object to or make a representation to any part of the proposed Order, you must send the grounds for your objection or support in writing to reach the Council by not later than 14th August 2026 to either proposedtro@ calderdale.gov.uk or to Highways and Transportation: C/O the Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax, HX1 1UJ or C/O Mulcture House, Mulcture Hall Road, Halifax, HX1 1SP; for the attention of the Highways Traffic Team.
