What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
MARKET STREET & WEST STREET (PART), MAIDENHEAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Market Street from its junction with A4 Bad Godesberg Way Roundabout to its junction with West Street and along that part of West Street from its junction with Market Street westward for a distance of 20 metres.

There is no diversion route available.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate glass replacement works with a crane at The Point, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall be in operation between 07.00 hours and 14.00 hours on Sunday 19 July and Sunday 26 July 2026. Temporary prohibition of driving will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
