Public Path Diversion Order 2026
The above order made by Cornwall Council on 07 July 2026 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will, if confirmed, divert a length of Public Footpath Number 20 in the Parish of Deviock commencing at its junction with a length of Footpath 20 Deviock to be retained approximately 26 metres north-north-east of ‘44 Trerieve Estate’ at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 31625/54146 then continuing in a generally south-westerly then westerly direction for a distance of approximately 32 metres to a point where it terminates at its junction with Unclassified Road (U6151) approximately 28 metres north-west of ‘44 Trerieve Estate’ at OSGR SX 31596/54137 to a revised line commencing at its junction with a length of Public Footpath 20 Deviock to be retained approximately 26 metres north-north-east of ‘44 Trerieve Estate’ at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 31625/54146 then continuing in a generally west-south-westerly then south-westerly direction for a distance of 29 metres terminating at its junction with Unclassified Road (U6151) approximately 25 metres north-west of ‘44 Trerieve Estate’ at OSGR SX 31598/54135. A copy of the order and order map may be downloaded from Cornwall Council’s website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/ countryside/public-path-orders/made-public-path-orders/ and have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at Looe Library and Information Service, Millpool, Looe PL13 2AF between the hours of 9.30am-1pm on Mondays, 9.30am-7pm on Tuesdays, 9:30am-5pm on Thursdays, 9.30am-1pm on Fridays, and 10.00am-2.00pm on Saturdays. Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer at Public Rights of Way, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, TR1 3AY or by email to proworders@cornwall.gov.uk. (quoting reference HAD 324) no later than Wednesday 19 August 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, then Cornwall Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
