Enfield - Junction Protection Proposals Introducing At Any Time Waiting Restrictions

Junction Protection – Various Locations
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. ) Order 202 under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions at the following locations:
(a) Bicknoller Road:-
(i) the north-east side, between 14.9 metres south-east of common boundary of Nos. 54/56 and 58/60 Bicknoller Road 1 metre north-west of common boundary of Nos. 45/47 and 49/51 Bicknoller Road;
(ii) the south-west side, between 16.1 metres south-east of common boundary of Nos. 54/56 and 58/60 Bicknoller Road 1.6 metres north-west of common boundary of Nos. 45/47 and 49/51 Bicknoller Road;
(b) Cavell Drive, both sides, between the north-western kerb-line of Uplands Park Road and 10 metres north-west of that kerb-line;
(c) Harrow Drive:-
(i) the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Great Cabridge Road and 23.4 metres south-east of that kerb-line;
(ii) the south-west side, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Great Cabridge Road and 31.8 metres south-east of that kerb-line;
(d) Fountains Crescent, the north-eastern arm, both sides, between 4 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of The Vale and 14 metres north-west of that kerb-line;
(e) Fountains Crescent, the south-western arm, both sides, between 4 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of The Vale and 14 metres north-west of that kerb-line;
(f) Inverness Avenue:-
(i) the north-west side, between 7.4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 49/51 Bicknoller Road and Nos. 67/69 Inverness Avenue and 5.8 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 74/76 and 78/80 Inverness Avenue;
(ii) the south-east side, between 7.6 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 49/51 Bicknoller Road and Nos. 67/69 Inverness Avenue and 5.6 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 74/76 and 78/80 Inverness Avenue;
(g) The Grove:-
(i) the north-west side, between the north-western kerb-line of Uplands Park Road and 17.1 metres south-west of that kerb-line;
(ii) the south-east side, between the north-western kerb-line of Uplands Park Road and 12.5 metres south-west of that kerb-line;
(h) The Vale, the north-west side:-
(i) between 7.7 metres north-east of Fountains Crescent, the north-eastern arm and 13.8 metres north-east of Fountains Crescent, the north-eastern arm;
(ii) between 5.3 metres south-west of Fountains Crescent, the north-eastern arm and 13.4 metres south-west of Fountains Crescent, the north-eastern arm;
(iii) between 5 metres north-east of Fountains Crescent, the south-western arm and 17.6 metres north-east of Fountains Crescent, the south-western arm;
(iv) between 7.8 metres south-west of Fountains Crescent, the south-western arm and 14.8 metres south-west of Fountains Crescent, the south-western arm;
(i) Uplands Park Road, the north-west side:-
(i) between 10 metres north-east of Cavell Drive and 10 metres south-west of Cavell Drive;
(ii) between 12.7 metres north-east of The Grove and 12.5 metres south-west of The Grove;
3. A copy of the proposed Order, the Notice and of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can:-
(a) be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive;
(b) also be inspected online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/
(c) be obtained by emailing JourneysandPlaces@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to Transport, Climate and Place (quoting reference TG52/1618 Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XA.
4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, or make any other representations in respect of it should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to Journey and Places, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD by 5th August 2026 or by e-mail to JourneysandPlaces@enfield.gov.uk.
