C95 SEA VIEW SHILBOTTLE TO
WARKWORTH SHILBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C95 Sea View Shilbottle to Warkworth 46 metres south westwards from its junction with Station Cottages, Warkworth heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 137 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 4th August 2026 until the 5th August 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th August 2026 until the 5th August 2026 between the hours of 23:30 and 06:00 during this period. The Order will however remain in force until 23:39 hours on the 5th August 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C95, U3030, U3029 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH & BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpaths Numbers 19, 22 & 27 and Public Bridleway Number 2, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 19
From a point on the Morpeth – Cornhill road at Powburn in a northeasterly direction under the L.N.E. Railway (Alnwick and Cornhill Branch) to join the Branton – Beanley road east of Hedgeley Station.
There is an alternative route available from a point on Public Footpath Number 19, 130 metres north east of the A697 Road, in a north westerly direction, for a distance of 130 metres, and then in a general easterly direction for a distance of 550 metres, to join the Branton – Beanley road east of Hedgeley Station.
Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 22
From the junction with Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 1, in southerly direction, for a distance of 280 metres to a point 35 metres south west of the bridge over the River Breamish.
There is no alternative route available.
Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 27
From Bridleway No 2, 170 metres north of Ring Plantation, in a southerly direction for a distance of 285 metres, then easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres, then north-easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres, then south-easterly direction for a
distance of 125 metres to join the C82 Road, 145 metres south-east of Ring Plantation.
There is an alternative route available from a point on the C82 Road, 610 metres west of The Lodge at Hedgeley Hall, Powburn, in a general north-easterly direction, following the field boundaries, for a distance of 255 metres, crossing over Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 27 and continuing in a north-westerly direction, following the field boundaries around the eastern side of Ring Plantation, for a distance of 245 metres, and then in a northerly direction, for a distance of 245 metres, to join Parish of Hedgeley Public Bridleway Number 2, 720 metres southwest of Tilesheds, Beanley, Alnwick. Parish of Hedgeley Public Bridleway Number 2
From a point 170 metres north of Ring Plantation, on the eastern side of the River Breamish, in a general north-easterly direction, for a distance of 820 metres, to a point 200 metres west of
Tilesheds, Beanley, Alnwick.
There is an alternative route available from a point 170 metres north of Ring Plantation, in a southerly direction, for a distance of 170 metres to join Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpath Number 22. Follow the route of the public footpath in a southerly direction, adjacent to the eastern bank of the River Breamish, for a further 355 metres, and then continue over the River Breamish, using the bridge, in a north westerly direction for a distance of 340 metres to join Parish of Hedgeley Public Bridleway Number 2. Continue in easterly direction along the bridleway, for a distance of 230 metres and then proceed in a northerly, easterly and southerly direction for a distance of 1.5 kilometres, to a point 200 metres west of Tilesheds, Beanley, Alnwick.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st August 2026 until the 1st February 2027. Parish of Hedgeley Public Bridleway Number 2 will be closed for the full duration of the closure or until the works are complete. Parish of Hedgeley Public Footpaths Numbers 19, 22 & 27 will be closed for no more than 2 consecutive days at a time to facilitate culvert installations and the infilling of a culvert outfall pipe.

The closure has been requested by Tweed Forum due to the likelihood of danger to the public to facilitate works associate with the River Breamish and Pow Burn Restoration Project.Alandscape scale river and floodplain restoration project being delivered by Tweed Forum on behalf of the River Till Restoration Partnership – a long-term strategic partnership including the Environment Agency and Natural England.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C106 Alnwick Fords Longframlington 50metreseithersideofthebridgeintheCountyofNorthumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th July 2026 until the 2nd November 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th July 2026 until the 28th August 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd November 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C106, U3049, C390, B6345, A697 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6027 ROAD TO NEWTON MILL MITFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6027 Road to Newton Mill Mitford from its junction with C144 Benridge Hagg Junction to Fairmoor heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 1450 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th July 2026 until the 31st July 2026 It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th July 2026 until the 24th July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st July 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9082 Eastern Way Ponteland from its junction with the U9083 Middle Drive in a southerly direction for a length of 145 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 20th July 2026 until the 7th August 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th July 2026 until the 24th July 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th August 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Eastern Way, Edge Hill, Whinfell Road, Middle Drive, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C124 Ulgham Lane Longhirst from its point opposite Crossing House in a north-westerly direction for a length of 35 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 18th July 2026 until the 19th July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th July 2026 until the 19th July 2026 between the hours of 23:00 and 06:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23:59 hours on the 19th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C124, C125, B1337, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C113 Road from Junction Market Place to A1068 Red Row from its junction with A1068 Widdrington to Hadston, Widdrington Village in a westerly direction for a length of 340 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th July 2026 until the 22nd January 2027.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th July 2026 until the 31st July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd January 2027.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A1068, B1330, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6345 Togston Road to Acklington Road Amble from its junction with C108 Togston Junction to Togston East Farm Junction in a northerly direction for a length of 1775 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 27th July 2026 until the 26th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th July 2026 until the 31st July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C108, A1068, B6345, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the following roads in the County of Northumberland:
C119 Grange Road from its junction with B1337 Grangemoor Road for its entirety.
C119 Grange View from its junction with Margaret Street in a southerly direction for a length of 320 metres. The Order is to be effective from the 30th July 2026 until the 19th January 2027.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 30th July 2026 until the 14th August 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th January 2027.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1337, A1068, C120, C119, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

Parish of Stamfordham Public Footpath Number 1
From a point 195 metres north east of the northern end of Parish of Stamfordham Public Footpath Number 10, in an easterly direction, for a distance of 55 metres, to a point 390 metres west of Hawkwell House, Hawkwell, Stamfordham. There is an alternative route available from a point 195 metres north east of the northern end of Parish of Stamfordham Public Footpath Number 10, in a northerly then easterly direction, for a distance of 75 metres, to a point 390 metres west of Hawkwell House, Hawkwell, Stamfordham.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th July 2026 until the 20th January 2027.
