NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 9th July 2026 Bedford Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which is detailed below:Effect of the Order:
1. To revoke the existing 20mph speed limit on the lengths of road listed below and introduce a 20mph zone. Associated traffic calming measures, including road humps, are proposed separately under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 9th July 2026 Bedford Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which is detailed below:Effect of the Order:
1. To reduce the existing “No Stopping Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm on School Entrance” restrictions and introduce “No Waiting Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm” and “No Loading Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm” restrictions on the following length of road:
A Silver Street, Great Barford
(i) On its southern kerb at a point 6.6 metres west of the east boundary line of No 55 for a length of 56.4 metres in an easterly direction.
2. To introduce “No Waiting at Any Time” restrictions on the following length of road:

(i) On its southern kerb starting from a point 3.8 metres west of the west boundary of No 28a (opposite) for a length of 9 metres in an easterly direction.
3. To amend the extent of the current “No Stopping 7am-7pm Except Buses” on the following length of road: A Silver Street, Great Barford
(i) On its southern kerb reduced in length by 10.5 metres on the west end starting from a point 3.8 metres west of the west boundary of No 28a (opposite)
(ii) On its southern kerb extended in length by 2.5 metres on the east end starting from a point 3.1 metres east of the boundary of No 28 and the GP Surgery (opposite)
4. To reduce the extent of the current “No Stopping MondayFriday 8am-4:30pm on School Entrance” restrictions on the following length of road:
A Silver Street, Great Barford
(i) On its southern kerb from a point 1 metre west of the west boundary of No 29 for a length of 14.5 metres in an easterly direction
5. To extend the existing “No Waiting at Any Time” restrictions on the following length of road:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bedford Borough Council has made an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the whole length of Little Staughton Road, Pertenhall at a speed exceeding 20 mph.
This temporary 20 mph speed restriction is required for safety of the public and workforce to undertake patching, surface dressing and reinstatement of road markings and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Manor Road, Kempston Hardwick.
All motorists, HGV’s and emergency services are required to follow the diversion at all times.
Access and egress for Emergency services who require attendance to a premise on Manor Road, will be maintained as reasonably practicable and safe. Access will only be maintained to those residents and businesses on this road.
Pedestrian access to be provided to Kempston Hardwick Railway Station from the west only. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate the utilisation of the dedicated plant crossing over Manor Road to enable the mass haulage of soil between the Lake and Core Zones of the site as part of the construction of Universal Destinations & Experiences UK Project, and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
