What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD

Waiting and Loading Restrictions Derby Road, Kingsway, Loraine Close and Queensway

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough Of Enfield (the Council) on 13th July 2026 have made the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 279) Order 2026 under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to make minor drafting amendments to the existing waiting and loading restrictions on Derby Road, Kingsway, Loraine Close and Queensway to conform with current on-site layout.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 27th July 2026, and any other relevant documents can be:-
(a) inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield, EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9:00am – 5:00pm inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made;

(b) obtained by emailing: JourneysandPlaces@enfield.gov.uk, or by writing to: Journeys and Places Team, Enfield Council, Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, EN1 3XA, (quoting reference: - TG52/1613).

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
