What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The Council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the

Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

LITTLE BURY STREET N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time on 22 July 2026 for 6 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road from a point between No.s 11/13 and its junction with Ramscroft Close and suspend parking at its junction with Church Street N9, between the existing restrictions and Bury Street West, on both sides of the road.

THE RIDE EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time on 22 July 2026 for 6 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between its junctions with Collingwood Avenue and Cowland Avenue and suspend parking

at its junction with High Street EN3, between the existing restrictions and Cowland Avenue, on both sides of the road.

ROSEMARY AVENUE, HAWTHORN GROVE EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

Operational Date and times:

Rosemary Avenue

“Between 08:00 - 18:00hrs” for 1 day or until works are completed; and

Hawthorn Grove

“Between 08:00 - 18:00hrs” for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

Rosemary Avenue

  • Close this road and suspend parking between Lavender Road and Baker Street; and

Hawthorn Grove

  • Close this road and suspend parking between Morley Hill and the main entrance of Lavender Primary School.

RAYNTON ROAD EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 27 July 2026 for 8 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road, from a point outside No.s 99a/101-87/85 on both sides of the road.

HOLTWHITES HILL, HOLTWHITE AVENUE EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 23 July 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Holtwhites Hill

  • Close the westbound carriageway on this road, between Chase Side EN2 and Holtwhites Avenue and suspend parking between the common boundary of No.s 16-26 and No.s 11-19/21; and

Holtwhite Avenue

  • Suspend parking from its junction with Holtwhites Hill for approximately 25m on both sides of the road.

THE VINERIES EN1

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 27 July 2026 for 8 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road from its junction with Peartree Road, for approximately 40m on both sides of the road and to close the footway on the east side, for approximately 25m.

BULL LANE, SHAFTESBURY ROAD N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 20:00 – 05:00hrs on 27 July 2026 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Bull Lane

  • close this road at its junction with Shaftesbury Road, southwards, for approximately 270m; and

Shaftesbury Road

  • close this road, at its junction with Bull Lane for approximately 10m.

FORE STREET, ANGEL PLACE N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 27 July 2026 for 3 nights or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Fore Street

  • suspend parking on the east side, between No.s 42-54 and No.s 72-90; and

Angel Place

  • suspend parking between No.s 185-195, on both sides of the road.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Whilst roads are closed local diversions would be in place and access would be maintained only as far as the works allow for more information contact 0208 379 2039 or email NRSWA@enfield.gov.uk
