(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AMENDMENT ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council has made an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to remove the limited waiting bay in the vicinity of 120 West Street and replace with No Waiting at Any Time restrictions (as previously advertised) and to change the existing 30 minute limited waiting to 1 hour parking bays on West Street either side of Half Moon Lane and in the vicinity of the church.
Exemptions are included which will permit waiting for disabled persons’ vehicles and for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers, loading or unloading of goods, the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.
The Order will come into operation on 20th July 2026 and a copy of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road concerned with a Statement of Reasons can be requested.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks after 13th July 2026 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
