(ETHERSTONE AVENUE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of the order will to prohibit any vehicular traffic to wait at any time on Etherstone Avenue from its junction with Red Hall Drive south westwards for 560 metres.
2. The Order is required in connection with Etherstone Avenue football matches to reduce the disruption to traffic likely to be caused by football matches.
3. Exemptions will be provided for any police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles on emergency call.
4. The Order will come into operation on 4th August 2026 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, for up to 9th May 2027.
