ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BIRMINGHAM ROAD, NETHER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable duct laying works.
Order Commences: 22 July 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Station Road, Blythe Road, Birmingham Road, Lichfield Road, Newlands Lane, Hams Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 03300 169688.

OLD HOLLY LANE, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic near to its junction with Whittington Lane.
Reason for Order: Essential utility works.
Order Commences: 20 July 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Old Holly Lane, Sheepy Road, Rowland Way and vice versa.

VICARAGE CLOSE, DORDON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of BT poly duct.
Order Commences: 20 July 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM BIRMINGHAM ROAD TO RAVENSWOOD HILL, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable duct laying works.
Order Commences: 20 July 2026 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Will be signed.

DORDON HALL LANE, DORDON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 23 July 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Dunns Lane, Church Road, Long Street, A5, Watling Street, Spon Lane, Dordon Hall Lane and vice versa.

AUSTREY LANE, NO MANS HEATH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable footway repair works.
Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Austrey Lane, No Mans Heath Lane, Appleby Hill, Atherstone Road, Ashby Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Onsite R & M, Tel: 0345 456 7065.

PARK AVENUE, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 6 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Park Road, St Helena Road, Grendon Road, Common Lane, Park Avenue and vice versa.

D404 PLANK LANE, WATER ORTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from B4118 Birmingham Road to Christopher Way.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction & associated works, 08.00hrs - 17.00hrs weekdays.
Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: B4118 (Birmingham Road, New Road), Coleshill Road, Plank Lane and vice versa.

MIDDLETON LANE, MIDDLETON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to replace one decayed telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 5 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Middleton Lane, Lichfield Road, Tamworth Road, Park Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
