NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Green Lane, Stewartby 20 metres either side of the bridge.
This temporary closure is required to enable rerail works, S & T inspection to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 2300hrs on 18 July to 11. Hrs on 19 July 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Green Lane, Broadmead Road and Green Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of ZUC105 TO UC105 Church Road, Eversholt between Church Road and Eversholt Rd.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(FLITTON AND GREENFIELD: BRIDLEWAY NO. 25 AND MAULDEN:
BRIDLEWAY NO. A6) PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 10 July 2026 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 will create a length of Bridleway No. 25, Flitton and Greenfield and a length of Bridleway No. A6, Maulden as described below.
The length of Bridleway No. 25, Flitton and Greenfield to be created extends from its junction with Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0535 3553 in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 381 metres along an aggregate track to OS GR TL 0561 3580 then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 251 metres to OS GR TL 0574 3602 then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 6 metres to its junction with an unaffected part of Footpath No. 2, Flitton and Greenfield at OS GR TL 0574 3602 then continues in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 68 metres over the bridge to terminate at its junction with Brook Lane at OS GR TL 0580 3599.
The new length of Bridleway No. 25, Flitton and Greenfield has a width of 4 metres between OS GR TL 0535 3553 and OS GR TL 0561 3580 and also between OS GR TL 0574 3602 and OS GR TL 0580 3599. Between OS GR TL 0561 3580 and OS GR TL 0574 3602 the route has a width of 3 metres.
The length of Bridleway No. A6, Maulden to be created extends from its junction with Footpath No. 23, Flitwick and Bridleway No. 2, Flitwick at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0492 3586 in a generally south-easterly direction for approximately 316 metres along a track to terminate at its junction with Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield at OS GR TL 0516 3565.
The new length of Bridleway No. A6, Maulden has a width of 4 metres.

PART OF BRIDLEWAY NO. 7) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 10 July 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert part of Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield as described below.
The length of Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield to be stopped up extends from its junction with an unaffected part of Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0536 3548 in a generally northerly direction for approximately 48 metres to its junction with Footpath No. 2, Flitton and Greenfield at OS GR TL 0535 3553 then continues in a south-westerly direction for approximately 39 metres to OS GR TL 0532 3550 then continues in a north-westerly direction for approximately 222 metres to terminate at its junction with Footpath No. A6, Maulden at OS GR TL 0516 3565.
The bridleway is stopped up across its entire width.
The length of Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield to be created extends from its junction with an unaffected part of Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0536 3548 in a generally northerly direction for approximately 48 metres along a track and over the bridle-bridge to its junction with Bridleway No. 25, Flitton and Greenfield at OS GR TL 0535 3553 then continues in a south-westerly direction for approximately 32 metres to OS GR TL 0532 3551 then continues in a generally north-westerly direction for approximately 215 metres to OS GR TL 0516 3565 then continues in a westerly direction for approximately 19 metres to terminate at its junction with Bridleway No. A6, Maulden at OS GR TL 0516 3565.
The new route of the bridleway has a width of 4 metres.

PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 10 July 2026 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish part of Footpath No. 2, Flitton and Greenfield as described below.
The length of Footpath No. 2, Flitton and Greenfield to be stopped up extends from its junction with Bridleway No. 7, Flitton and Greenfield at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0535 3553 in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 376 metres to OS GR TL 0561 3580 then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 251 metres to OS GR TL 0574 3602 then continues in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 85 metres along a concrete track to its junction with Brook Lane at OS GR TL 0581 3598.
The footpath is stopped up over its full width.
