The County of Cornwall (Infra26-128) (Truro) (Morlaix Avenue) (40mph Speed Limit) (Amendment) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cornwall Council proposes to make the above Orders to regulate traffic in Truro. The effect is to introduce restrictions on waiting and amend speed limits along the lengths of road described below. The Speed Limit Order consolidates and amends various existing speed limit provisions within Truro. The roads affected by that Order, including roads subject to existing provisions which have been consolidated, are detailed below. Each road is listed under any relevant new or consolidated speed limit restrictions which are proposed along its length.
It is further proposed to establish a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Morlaix Avenue, east of its junction with Park Deg Erow. It is considered that this will improve pedestrian safety and facilitate pedestrians crossing the road.
