BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(HANSON STREET, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Hanson Street from its junction with Spring Vale for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate associated gas works within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16:00 hours on the 22nd July 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Spring Vale, Townley Street, Lodge Street, Boarshaw Road, John Lee Fold, Hanson Street and vice versa.
(BURY NEW ROAD & BURY STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding and/or waiting at anytime along:
(i) Bury New Road from its junction with Bury Old Road to its junction with Summit Street in a Westerly direction for a distance of 500 metres
(ii) Bury Street from its junction with Bury Old Road to its junctions with Pilsworth Road in a Easterly direction for a distance of 450 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate Surface Dressing within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 to 16:30 weekdays & 08:00 to 18:00 on weekends on any 2 days between the 20th July to the 7th August weather depending.
Advance warning signs will be in place 2 weeks before any commencement of works with exact start dates.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on site as & when required.
(QUEENS PARK ROAD, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding and/or waiting at anytime along:
(i) Queens Park Road from its junction with Adelaide Street in a Northerly direction for a distance of 860 metres.
The order is required to facilitate Surface Dressing within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 to 15:30 weekdays & 08:00 to 18:00 on weekends on any 2 days between the 20th July to the 7th August weather depending.
Advance warning signs will be in place 2 week before any commencement of works with exact start dates.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on site as & when required.
(ASPINALL STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Aspinall Street from its junction with Mutual Street in a southerly direction direction for a distance of 353 metres to its junction with Adelaide Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Aspinall Street from its junction with Mutual Street in a southerly direction direction for a distance of 353 metres to its junction with Adelaide Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe installation of traffic calming within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07:30 on the 10th August 2026 until 17:00 on the 16th August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Aspinall Street, York Street, Queens Park Road, Starkey Street, Miller Street, & vice versa.
