Public Notice The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No.** ) Order 202* - (Royal Parade, Chislehurst And Pope Road, Bromley) - T807
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effects of these Orders would be to :-
(a) remove the existing pay by phone bays outside of Nos. 1 – 4a Royal Parade, on the southwestern kerb line as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with what already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.
(b) reduce the length of an existing resident permit holder only bay, from 6.6 metres to 4.5 metres outside No. 2 Pope Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Orders, plan and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference: - ADE(TP)/MW/SF/T807 no later than 12th August 2026.
Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

(i) from a point 4.2 metres southeast of the northwestern flank wall of No. 1 Royal Parade to a point 2.5m northwest of the western kerb line of Royal Parade Mews.
