Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Marsh Baldon CP, B4015 Little Baldon –

30mph Speed Limit

Date of Order: 27/07/2026

Coming into force: 03/08/2026

This Order is being introduced because of excavations to facilitate upgrading the electricity network which are anticipated to be completed on 24/08/2026. The effect of the Order is to reduce the existing 50 mph speed limit to 30 mph along that part of the B4015 between the junctions with Marylands Green and Golden Balls Roundabout. Exemptions are included for emergency vehicles. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Stadhampton – Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 2025 will be temporarily suspended. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T18181/JP)

This Order is being introduced because of kerbing works and carriageway resurfacing which are anticipated to take until 14/08/2026 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic and waiting at any time in that part of Gold Street from junction to junction. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency vehicles, the works and for access to property. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T18286/JP)
