What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(CROSSWAY LANE ETC, KINGSTANDING)
(20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made an Order under Sections 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:
1. To introduce a 20-mph speed limit restriction on lengths of CROSSWAY LANE, BRYLAN CROFT, EPWELL ROAD, FAIRFORD ROAD, BOSWELL ROAD and EPWELL GROVE.
The Order will come into operation on 17th July 2026.

If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within 6 weeks from the 16th July 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
