LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(HALA ROAD AND HALA HILL AREA, LANCASTER, LANCASTER CITY) (REVOCATION, PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Lancaster City Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to Items (130)a), (13)b), (130)c), (215)a)(i) and (215)c) of Schedule 10.01.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Bowerham Road, Lancaster, the west side, from a point 13.5 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Kempton Road for a distance of 27.5 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Claughton Drive, Lancaster, both sides, from a point 29.5 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Hala Road for a distance of 87.5 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Cockersand Drive, Lancaster, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Hala Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction;
d) Hala Hill, Lancaster, the north east side, from a point 19 metres east of the projected centreline of Newmarket Avenue for a distance of 40.5 metres in a north westerly direction;
e) Hala Road, Lancaster, the north side, from a point 74 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Scotforth Road for a distance of 21 metres in an easterly direction;
f) Hala Road, Lancaster, the north side, from a point 35.5 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Cockersand Drive for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction;
g) Hala Road, Lancaster, the south side, from a point 130 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Claughton Drive for a distance of 7 metres in an easterly direction;
h) Hala Road, Lancaster, the south side, from a point 146 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Claughton Drive for a distance of 9 metres in an easterly direction;
i) Hala Road, Lancaster, the south side, from a point 163 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Claughton Drive for a distance of 8 metres in an easterly direction;
j) Hala Road, Lancaster, the south side, from a point 88 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Claughton Drive for a distance of 19.5 metres in an easterly direction;
k) Hala Road, Lancaster, the south west side, from its junction with the centreline of Claughton Drive for a distance of 53.5 metres in a westerly direction;
l) Kempton Road, Lancaster, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Bowerham Road for a distance of 21 metres in a westerly direction;
m) Kempton Road, Lancaster, the south east side, from a point 16.5 metres northeast of its junction with the centreline of Newmarket Avenue for a distance of 31.5 metres in a south westerly direction;
n) Newmarket Avenue, Lancaster, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Kempton Road for a distance of 21.5 metres in a southerly direction;
o) Newmarket Avenue, Lancaster, the east side, from its junction with the centreline of Hala Hill for a distance of 16 metres in a northerly direction;
p) Newmarket Avenue, Lancaster, the west side, from its junction with the centreline of Hala Hill for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction.
3. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm in Hala Road, Lancaster, the north side, from a point 39 metres west of its junction with the projected centreline of Cockersand Drive for a distance of 44 metres in an easterly direction.
