A61 INNER RELIEF ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 02 August 2026 (04:00 to 16:00)
WHERE: A61 Inner Relief Road, Chesterfield between Hornsbridge Interchange and Rother Way Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate annual highway maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A617, Lordsmill Interchange, Lordsmill Street, St Mary's Gate, Holywell Street, Donut Interchange, Holywell Street, Sheffield Road, Lockoford Road, Lockoford Lane to Rother Way Interchange and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
