intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Trafford Way in the City of Doncaster District as described in
the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for telecommunications pole swap are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Trafford Way, Carr House Road,
Leger Way, Wheatley Hall Road, Church Way.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of August 2026 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not
completed within the stated time the Order may be continued
in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for

Trafford Way, Doncaster from its junction with A630
Cleveland Street to its junction with West Street.
Dates and Times
28th July 2026 between 01:00hrs until 02:00hrs.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st August 2026 but only
between the hours stated above.
