THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Watling Street, Camelon from 08:00 on 17/07/26 until 17:00 on 26/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Watling Street, Camelon from a point adjacent to A803 in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Watling Street, Wall Street, Wilson Road, A803 or vice versa.
A803, Glasgow Road, Camelon from 07:30hrs on 20/07/26 until 17:00hrs on 23/07/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway repair works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes: A803, Glasgow Road, Camelon from its junction with Camelon Roundabout to its junction with Hamilton Street.
2. The alternative route is A803, M876, A9, Camelon Roundabout.
3. Non-motorway traffic Diversion - A803, B905, A9, Camelon Roundabout and vice versa.
Haugh Street/Abbotsford Street, Falkirk from 08:00 on 20/07/26 until 17:00 on 21/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Haugh Street/Abbotsford Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Abbotsford Street in an easterly direction for approximately 250 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Haugh Street, Carronside Street, Davids Loan, Langlees Street, Cobblebrae Crescent, Cross Street or vice versa.
Newlands Road, Reddingmuirhead, from the Roundabout at Wallace Brae Drive, to the junction with Wallacestone Brae from 07:30 hours on 20/07/26 until 17:00 hours on 24/07/26. The prohibition is to allow drainage works to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes section of Newlands Road, Reddingmuirhead, from the Roundabout at Wallace Brae Drive, to the junction with Wallacestone Brae.
2. The alternative route is Newlands Road, Redding Road, Sunnyside Road, Standrigg Road, Wallacestone Brae, and vice versa.
Tryst Road, Stenhousemuir from 08:00 on 20/07/26 until 18:00 on 24/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Tryst Road, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to School Walk in a northerly direction for approximately 250 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Tryst Road, A88, B902, B905, Tryst Road or vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:
Crathes Avenue, Stenhousemuir from 00:01 on 20/07/26 until 23:59 on 02/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Crathes Avenue, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to Tulliallan Place in a northerly direction on both sides for approximately 70 metres or thereby.
Haugh Street, Falkirk from 08:00 on 20/07/26 until 17:00 on 21/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Haugh Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Carronside Street in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 300 metres or thereby.
