THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

Public Notice - The Bromley (Waiting And Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No.***) Order 202* - (Albany Road, Alexander Road, Green Lane, Park Road And Queens Road, Chislehurst) - T843

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the above-mentioned Order would be to amend the Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Order 2003, to update the description of the waiting restrictions as set out in the schedules to this Notice, in Albany Road, Alexander Road, Green Lane, Park Road and Queens Road. This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, plans and the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to The Assistant Director Of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by email: TrafficManagementOrders@bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference: - ADE(TP)/MW/SF/T843 no later than 12th August 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE 1:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting "At any time":

ALEXANDER ROAD, Chislehurst
(a) the north-west side
(i) from the western kerb line of Green Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres,

(b) the south side
(i) from the western kerb line of Green Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 13 metres

SCHEDULE 2:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting operating Monday to Saturday between 8:30am and 6:30pm

ALBANY ROAD, Chislehurst
(a) the south-east side
(i) from a point 5 metres south-west of the south-western kerb line of Green Lane in a southerly direction to a point 5 metres north-west of the south-western kerb line of Green Lane.

PARK ROAD, Chislehurst
(a) the north-west side
(i) from a point 23 metres from the western kerb line of Green Lane in a south-westerly direction for its entire length.

(b) the south-east side
(i) from a point 21 metres from the western kerb line of Green Lane in a south-westerly direction for its entire length.

QUEENS ROAD, Chislehurst
(a) both sides
(i) from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 23 and 24 in a south-westerly direction for its entire length.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
Revoke No Waiting 'At any time':

GREEN LANE, Chislehurst
(a) the west side
(i) from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 18 and 20, in a southerly direction to the north-western kerb line of Pond Path.
