Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Footpath and Cyclepath New Road which extends from a point 95m south west of Hatchet Road south westwards for 33m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon new crossing works. The order became operative from 20 July 2026 for a maximum period of six months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration.

Alternative route: Traffic signalled crossing point onto Brierly Furlong, footway adjacent to Brierly Furlong, traffic signalled crossing point onto New Road, Foot and Cyclepath New Road (part unaffected).

(Yew Tree Farm Lane, Oldbury-on-Severn) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Yew Tree Farm Lane which extends from Kington Lane north eastwards for 190m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon pole replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 22 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration, between 8am and 6pm. No alternative route available: No through road.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Sweetwater Lane which extends from Redhill Lane north eastwards for 480m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon pole replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 22 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration, between 8am and 6pm. (Upper Tockington Road, Tockington) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Upper Tockington Road which extends from 150m west of Washingpool Hill Road westwards for 80m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with new gas services works. The order became operative from 24 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 week duration. Alternative route: Upper Tockington Road, Washingpool Hill Road, Old Down Hill, Haw Lane and vice versa.

(A38 Gloucester Road, Patchway and A38 Gloucester Road North, Filton) (Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has:- a) prohibited, temporarily, any vehicle proceeding at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour in the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice; and b) suspended, temporarily, the South Gloucestershire Council (A38 Gloucester Road North, Filton) (Restricted Roads) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2014 in so far as it relates to the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice, for the duration of the order. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon bridge repair works. The order became operative from 25 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The restriction however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Littleton Drew Lane which extends from Chestnut Close to Hollybush Close. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon sewer connection and junction construction works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 10 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 month duration. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon telecom ducting works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 10 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
