What is happening?

The Council of the City of Manchester proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - CITY OF MANCHESTER (WADEFORD CLOSE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING/UNLOADING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
The effect of the Order is as follows:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Wadeford Close: (i) the north-east side from its junction with Jersey Street in a northerly direction up to and including its cul-de-sac end, (ii) the south-west side from its junction with Harriett Street in a northerly direction to its cul-de-sac end.
NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME: Wadeford Close: (i) the north-east side from its junction with Jersey Street in a northerly direction to and including its cul-de-sac end, (ii) the south-west side from its cul-de-sac end in a southerly direction for a distance of 7 metres, (iii) the southwest side from its junction with Harriett Street in a northerly direction of a distance of 10 metres.
Existing Orders shall be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a statement of reasons and plans showing the proposals may be inspected by appointment at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
