The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to reduce the length of the existing limited waiting parking bay on Cole Street and introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions, due to a new vehicular access being constructed for a development located there.

The effect of the Order, if made, will be to.
1. Reduce the extent of the existing limited waiting bay that currently operates a maximum 15-minute stay with no return permitted for 60 minutes, between 8am and 6.30pm every day. The order will also introduce a prohibition of no waiting restriction at all times, on all days on part of Cole Street, to cover the reduced section of limited waiting bay, as set out below and to the extent shown on the plan TM/COLEST/TRO attached to the draft Order. The plan is provided for the purposes of identifying the location and extents of the proposal and is referred to by a plan number for ease of reference.
PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS
The proposed Order will amend Schedule 2 & Schedule 5 of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral (Birkenhead Controlled Parking Zone) (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) Order, 2008 to introduce no waiting for vehicles at any time restriction on all days on the west side of Cole Street, from its junction with Claughton Road for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction and; to reduce the existing limited waiting bay on Cole Street, West Side so that it will extend from a point 14 metres south of its junction with Claughton Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 21 metres
The usual exemptions contained within the parent Order will apply, including those relating to vehicles being used for emergency services, statutory undertakers, and other necessary purposes.
Vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge, may wait in accordance with the exemptions set out in the parent Order and national Blue Badge scheme guidance.
(D) WIRRAL COUNCIL
(BIRKENHEAD AREA) (WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT NO 1) 2026
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be the extension of the prohibition of waiting at all times, on the east side of Corinthian Street, to protect the vehicular access to a business located there.

The effect of the Order, if made, will be to.

Introduce a prohibition of no waiting restriction at all times, on all days and a prohibition of waiting, between 8am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday, on part of Corinthian Street as set out below and to the extent shown on the plan TM/CORINTHIAN/TRO attached to the draft Order. The plan is provided for the purposes of identifying the location and extents of the proposal and is referred to by a plan number for ease of reference.
PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS
The proposed Order will amend Schedule 2 of the Wirral Council (Birkenhead Area) (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) Order, 2006 to revoke the existing parking restrictions on the east side of Corinthian Street and the reinstatement of the introduction of no waiting for vehicles at any time, on all days on Corinthian Street, northeast side, from its junction with Bedford Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction and the introduction of No Waiting 8am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday, Corinthian Street, northeast side, From its junction with Howson Street in a southerly direction to a point 25 metres north of its junction with Bedford Road
The usual exemptions contained within the parent Order will apply, including those relating to vehicles being used for emergency services, statutory undertakers, and other necessary purposes.

(E) WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL
(GLEBELANDS ROAD / SANDBROOK LANE, MORETON) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026
Proposal to introduce a prohibition on waiting at all times and on all days, all around the junction of Glebelands Road and Sandbrook Lane, in order to alleviate obstructive parking and allow safe and unobstructed access for the scheduled local bus services that turns into Glebelands Road from Sandbrook Lane as part of its route.

1. Introduce a no waiting at any time restriction on the junction of Glebelands Road and Sandbrook Lane, as set out below and to the extent shown on the plan TM/GLEB/TRO attached to the draft Order. (F) WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL
(NEW HEY ROAD / FENDER COURT, UPTON) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026
Proposal to introduce a prohibition on waiting at all times and on all days, all around the junction of New Hey Road and the access to Fender Court. This is to help maintain accessibility and visibility for all road users, particularly for larger vehicles, such as refuse collection and emergency service vehicles.

Introduce a no waiting at any time restriction on the junction of New Hey Road and the access to Fender Court, as set out below and to the extent shown on the plan TM/NEWHEY/TRO attached to the draft Order. PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS
The introduction of no waiting for vehicles at all times and on all days on; New Hey Road, Southeast side, from its junction with access road to Fender Court for a distance of 17 metres, in a north easterly direction; New Hey Road, Northwest side, from a point in line with the access road to Fender Court for a distance of 25 metres, in a north westerly direction and the Access Road to Fender Court, Both Sides, from its junction with New Hey Road for a distance of 10 metres, in a south easterly direction.
Exemptions:
i. Standard exemptions will apply, including for emergency service vehicles and vehicles being used for statutory undertakings or other necessary purposes.
ii. Vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge may wait in accordance with the provisions of the national Blue Badge scheme guidance.
(G) WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL
(GREENBANK ROAD, WEST KIRBY) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026
Proposal to introduce a prohibition of waiting on Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 5pm, around the junction of Greenbank Road and Anglesey Road, and along part of the north side of Greenbank Road. This is due to obstructive parking at weekends relating to sporting fixtures at the playing fields, which is causing access issues for the local bus services that use this area as part of their route. The proposed measures will alleviate obstructive parking and allow safe and unobstructed access for the scheduled local bus services.

Introduce a no waiting, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5pm restriction on parts of Anglesey Road and Greenbank Road, as set out below and to the extent shown on the plan GRWK01 attached to the draft Order. The plan is provided for the purposes of identifying the location and extents of the proposal and is referred to by a plan number for ease of reference.
PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS
The introduction of no waiting for vehicles at all times on Saturday and Sunday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, on Anglesey Road, West side, from its junction with Greenbank Road for a distance of 10 metres, in a south westerly direction; on Anglesey Road, East side from its junction with Greenbank Road for a distance of 29 metres, in a southerly direction and on Greenbank Road, North side, between its junctions with Anglesey Road and Grainger Road

i. Standard exemptions will apply, including for emergency service vehicles and vehicles being used for statutory undertakings or other necessary purposes.
ii. Vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge may wait in accordance with the provisions of the national Blue Badge scheme guidance.

Notice of making Temporary Traffic Restriction Order
in the birkenhead Area 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council have made the above order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable proposed works to be executed on or near the roads specified in the proposed order (having already advertised notice of intent).
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Borough Road Flyover (Temporary Road Closure) Birkenhead Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close the Borough Road Flyover A5227, Birkenhead from its junction with the Wilbraham Street / Clifton Cresent / Borough Road roundabout to its junction with New Chester Road A41.
Alternate Route: A41 Chester Street, A554 Canning Street and Argyle Street A5030, Hamilton Square A552, Argyle Street A552 vice versa
Maximum Duration of the order: From 20 July 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 August 2026.

Notice of making Temporary ROAD CLOSURE Order in the tranmere Area 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council intend to make the above Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers because of the likelihood of danger to the public in particular those attending football matches and special events and / or in the vicinity of the Prenton Park Stadium on or around the time such football matches or special events are taking place.
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order will come into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Various Roads around the Prenton Park Stadium (Temporary Traffic Restriction) Tranmere Order 2026/27
The effect of the order will be to prohibit traffic proceeding along the following lengths listed below:
- Borough Road, Tranmere from its junction with Prenton Road West to its junction with Mount Road.
- Prenton Road West, Tranmere from its junction with Storeton Road to its junction with Borough Road.
- All junctions adjoining the above roads will be temporarily closed when necessary.
The roads will be temporarily closed (in part or in full as required) for a period of time as determined necessary prior to, during and after football matches or special events held at the stadium.
This order will become operative between the hours of 9:30am until 11:30pm from Friday 1 August 2026 until Friday 31 July 2027.
