Temporary Closure of Fairend Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Fairend Lane - from the junction with Pound Lane to the junction with Birchwood Road. A total distance of 153 metres. This Order will enable SOLO Groundworks Ltd to install new foul connection on behalf of Ellis and Co Ltd.

The Order becomes effective on 29th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd August 2026 and last until 15th August 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 13 days.
