DEDDF RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984 - ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd/rhoi cyfyngiad ar gerbydau fel a ganlyn.

1) Cau Ffordd Dros Dro: Ni chaiff unrhyw un achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd Ashly Court, Llanelwy y cyfeirir ato yn yr Atodlen isod.

2) Cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd Dros Dro: Bydd cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd ar waith ar Stryd Fawr Llanelwy fel y nodir yn yr Atodlen.

Y rheswm am y cyfyngiad yw er mwyn i Wales and West Utilities newid y brif bibell gyflenwad nwy. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 20 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 27 Gorffennaf 2026.

Stryd Fawr; Yr han sy’n ymestyn tua’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd gyda The Roe i’w chyffordd gyda Stryd Isaf. Gwaherddir traffig rhag teithio tua’r dwyrain. Ni fydd unrhyw effaith ar draffig sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ASHLY COURT AND HIGH STREET, ST. ASAPH

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting/restricting vehicular traffic as follows.

1) Temporary Road Closure: No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Ashly Court St. Asaph referred to in the Schedule below.

2) Temporary One-Way traffic restriction: The One-Way Traffic restriction shall be in place on High Street St. Asaph as stated in the Schedule.

The reason for the restriction is to facilitate gas mains replacement by Wales and West Utilities. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order is effective from 20th July 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 27th July 2026.

Schedule

Lengths of Road at St. Asaph in the County of Denbigh

1) Temporary Road closure:

Ashly Court; extending westward from its junction with The Roe for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

The Diversion route will be via: Heol Esgob and The Roe

2) Temporary One-Way traffic restriction:

High Street; The section extends eastward from its junction with The Roe to its junction with Lower Street. Eastbound traffic is prohibited. Westbound traffic is unaffected.

The Diversion route will be via: A525, B5431
