Temporary Closure of Church Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Church Street - from the junction with High Street, north-westwards for a total distance of 54 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out service disconnection works.

The Order becomes effective on 29th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd August 2026 and last until 7th August 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
