Gorley Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Openreach Pole Testing

Temporary Road Closure -Gorley Road, Ellingham, Harbridge & Ibsley, New Forest
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Gorley Road between its junction with Ivy Lane and its junction with Highwood Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Northfield Road, Salisbury Road, Mockbeggar Lane, Gorley Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 14th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete pole testing.
