  13. Cyflwyno cyfyngiadau Dim Llwytho ar Unrhyw Adeg ar rannau o Maesglas Crescent, Nash Road a’r ffordd fynediad ddienw i Ysgol Maes Ebbw ger Rhif 210 Maesglas Crescent.

  17. Dirymu’r cyfyngiadau Dim Stopio presennol, Llun – Gwener, 8am – 4.30pm, 1 Medi – 31 Gorffennaf, ar farciau melynedaid, ar ochr ogleddol Aberthaw Road ger mynedfa Ysgol Gynradd Alway.

Bydd y gorchymyn arfaethedig yn diwygio Gorchymyn (Gwahardd a Chyfyngu ar Aros a Llwytho a Mannau Parcio ar y Stryd) (Gorfodi Sifil) Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd 2019, hynny yw, caiff yr Atodlenni Map eu diwygio a gosodir teils map newydd yn eu lle.

NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) (AMENDMENT No.9) (STREET PARKING PLACES FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING PLACES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Newport City Council proposes to make the above order in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”), Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (hereinafter referred to as “the 2004 Act”) and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-

  1. To introduce Disabled Person Parking Places outside property numbers 66 Alexandra Road, 109 Balmoral Road, 58 Barrack Hill, 66 College Glade, 13 Conway Road, 404 Corporation Road, 65 Dolphin Street, 3 Downing Street, 126 Duckpool Road, 89 and 91 Ebenezer Drive, 27 Gordon Street, 71 Howe Circle, 9 Keene Street, 16 Lysaght Avenue, 1 Macaulay Gardens, 26 Maesglas Avenue, 43 Margaret Avenue, 40 Marlborough Road, 94 Mendalgief Road, 6 Parret Close, 3 Radnor Road, 50 Russell Drive, 14 Sutton Road, 35 Victoria Avenue, 95 Victoria Avenue, 21 Walford Davies Drive, 49 Woodland Road and in Park Seymour opposite its junction with Greenmeadow Drive.
  2. To revoke existing Disabled Person Parking Places outside property numbers 63 Archibald Street, 3 Bank Street, 51 Blaen-y-pant Crescent, 3 Brynderwen Road, 42 and 44 Church Street, 18 Collingwood Road, 3 Delius Close, 21 Dibdin Close, 100 Duckpool Road, 51 Goodrich Crescent, 89 Howe Circle, 94 Howe Circle, 162 Howe Circle, 10 Hubert Road, 26 Margaret Avenue, 539 Monnow Way, 45 Oakfield Road (within Hilla Road), 29 Rosslyn Road, 25 Shaw Grove, 214 Tregwilym Road, 13 Tyne Close and 7 Woodland Road.
  3. To revoke the existing Mon – Sat, 8am – 8pm, Resident permit holders D1 or Limited waiting 1 hour No return within 2 hours outside property number 17 Victoria Avenue and in its place introduce a Disabled Persons Parking Place.
  4. To amend the location of existing Electric Vehicle Charging Places in Archibald Street.
  5. To amend the location of existing Electric Vehicle Charging Places and introduce additional extents of No Waiting At Any Time restrictions in Cardiff Road, opposite its junction with Queen Street.
  6. To amend the location of existing Electric Vehicle Charging Places and introduce additional extents of No Waiting At Any Time restrictions in Livingstone Place.
  7. To revoke existing Electric Vehicle Charging Places in Beresford Road, Corporation Road, Denbigh Road, Dunstable Road, Fairoak Avenue, Gaer Vale, Gwladys Place, Jeddo Street, Junction Road, Kenilworth Road, Kingsmill Terrace, Morden Road, Ronald Road and Wingate Street.
  8. To introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions in lengths of Aberthaw Circle, Aberthaw Drive, Aberthaw Road, Albany Street, Allt-Yr-Yn View, Allt-Yr-Yn Way, Alma Street, Almond Drive, Annesley Road, Baldwin Close, Barrack Hill, Bassaleg Road, Bethesda Close, Bethesda Place, Cae Perllan Road, Castle Way, Claremont, Court View, Exeter Street, Grafton Road, Jeddo Close, Latch Square, Leicester Road, Llanover Close, Maesglas Crescent, Maesglas Road, Merriots Place, Mission Court, Morgraig Avenue, Nash Road, Old Chepstow Road, Oswald Road, Pillmawr Road, Pilton Vale, Rowan Way, Stow Park Circle, Stow Park Gardens, The Firs, The Nurseries, Tregwilym Road and the Unnamed access road to Maes Ebbw School adjacent to No. 210 Maesglas Crescent.
  9. To revoke a length of the existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on the east side of Rodney Road, near its junction with St Vincents Road, and in its place introduce Mon – Sat, 8am – 8pm, Resident permit holders only AC.
  10. To revoke a length of the existing Mon – Sat, 8am – 8pm, Resident permit holders only AC on the north side of St Vincents Road, near its junction with Rodney Road, and in its place introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions.
  11. To introduce No Waiting Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 4.30pm restrictions on the north side of Waltwood Road opposite the entrances to Llanmartin Primary School.
  12. To revoke the existing No Waiting Mon – Fri, 8am – 8pm restrictions on the south side of Allt-Yr-Yn Avenue, near its junction with Ash Tree View.
  13. To introduce No Loading At Any Time restrictions in lengths of Maesglas Crescent, Nash Road and the Unnamed access road to Maes Ebbw School adjacent to No. 210 Maesglas Crescent.
  14. To introduce No Loading Mon – Fri, 8am – 9.30am, 3pm – 4.30pm restrictions on the west side of Mendalgief Road between its junctions with Price Close and Jeddo Close.
  15. To introduce Limited waiting Mon – Sat, 8am – 6pm, 1 hour No return within 2 hours on the west side of Corporation Road between its junctions with St Vincent Road and Grafton Road.
  16. To introduce Resident permit holders only FM on the south side of Caerphilly Road between its junctions with Glebe Gardens and Churchmead.
  17. To revoke the existing No Stopping, Mon – Fri, 8am – 4.30pm, 1 Sept – 31 July, on entrance markings, on the north side of Aberthaw Road adjacent to the entrance to Alway Primary School.

The proposed order shall amend the Newport City Council (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting And Loading And On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2019 in that the Map Schedules shall be amended and replacement map tiles inserted.
